Blue is a decoy
We wanted to make something completely blue. Blueprinting the sky, the sea, we didn't want to have a blue shimmer, to lie about the blue of the sky, even though we didn't even know each other. The project was born out of a blind date. We met by chance at Sound and Vision. Cut up a blue montage. We made an analog and digital date in the distance, vastness and depth of the space that lay between us and played with all the nuances that were available to us. We were hoping for a blue miracle.

„Pariser Skizzenbuch“
The footage for the video "Paris Sketchbook" was shot in January/February 2018 during a residency at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris.
The film was completed in the fall. It is the latest result of the collaboration between Johanna Hansen and Elena Hill.
